Regarding NZ sending 60 police + troops - I could only find this stated in the Washington Post article. In my "local" paper, it says that about 30 soldiers are on standby but both Reuters & Stuff.co.nz seem to be indicating that the Prime Minister has not made a decision on whether to send troops.
