Talk:Mozilla Foundation prepares third Firefox security update

Shouldn't there be a Wiki page for the Mozilla Foundation???

Using asa's blog as a source edit

First: You shouldn't do it.

Second: Link to a dynamic page, and state 'various posts'. Ok, that really helps the reader look into this in a few months when the dynamic page is so changed that it's unknown what esactly the source is. Perhaps link to each post in a line (such as [1] [2] [3])? --Tom 01:00, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I think it is unreasonable to ask a news website not to link to a public website, blog or otherwise. I agree that "various posts" and "various dates" is no good, and I'd be happy to link to the same information somewhere else out of courtesy to Asa. (Just so we're clear, I haven't edited this article or its sources at all. I'll see if I can add a more pleasing link to the article.) Pingswept 02:27, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)
OK, I added a more targeted link. I found the same story on Mozillazine, but it had less detail, so I am linking to Asa's blog instead. Note that we are not doing what Rafael complains about in his comments to Asa's post-- taking Asa's comments out of context. When the reader clicks on the link, they see Asa's blog, not a quote taken out of context. Pingswept 02:42, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)
