I've got it started. I have to go now, but I'll be back to editing late this afternoon and in the early evening. There might be more sources available by that time as well. Please feel free to work on it while I'm gone. --Jpbrenna 17:48, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)

And the experience of the sodium vapor light explosion was the night of the post-w:Bobby Knight firing riot at IU in the fall of 2000. I was working in the Fine Arts Building and saw some goons pull down a lampost next to the university president's house. I thought the police had thrown some kind of stun grenade because of the boom, but it turned out it was the bulb breaking. <begin editorial> Part of the problem that night is that there weren't enough cops around, much less any throwing grenades at the hooligans </end editorial>

Good to go edit

I think this is ready to be published, and I don't want it to be published to long after the events. Jpbrenna, you've done a great job! If you disagree with me publishing this - sorry! Dan100 (Talk) 09:37, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Just give me a chance to run it by my source to see if she approves of the paraphrasing of her comments and to see if she has anything to add (she's online now). Also, she just told me about a bombing in Khuzestan, and when I googled it, I found there has just been another in Teheran. I'll put those in a separate, linked article though. --Jpbrenna 20:24, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)
