220 feet is not 140m. It's more like 500 feet

Why weren't THESE GUYS in Guantanamo??

edit

That's what I want to know! Hopefully that will become part of the story; we should be locking the KNOWN terrorists up in Guantanamo where they CAN'T ESCAPE ;instead of the rag-tag bunch of "suspects" that are in Gitmo now. That these proven and convicted terrorists and killers of multiple american servicemen were under foreign control in a place where they could escape is absolutely unconscionable; our Pentagon/Defense Department need to be called to account on this one. I am stunned and really pissed off! Neutralizer 17:42, 5 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

I AGREE in what you are saying, BUT, as what we think on where they should be...if you get my drift? adding that to the article, would only make it POV as none of these guys were there nor were they ever. Jason Safoutin 17:59, 5 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yes, you are correct, I think; I am so mad right now I can't think straight; I'll take a break. Neutralizer 18:11, 5 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
WHAT IF, this was all "the plan"...The tunnel had to have taken quite sometime (220 feet) (140 meters) to dig....maybe when Bin Laden released his tape, and he spoke of "we will see,"...maybe this is part of that "we will see" process??? NOT suggesting adding this to article. Jason Safoutin 18:28, 5 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
These guys weren't in Guantanamo because they were terrorists and not political prisoners. When someone really is a terrorist, you don't need to put them in places where no one can talk to them. When, on the other hand, someone isn't really a terrorist, but a political prisoner, it's better to keep him hidden where he can safely be tortured, and won't tell the media about it.
