Talk:Massive star cluster found in Milky Way

The linked article says, "For immediate release".

Does that mean the pictures are released into the public domain and we can put one or two in the article?

An astronomy article without pictures is kinda like peanut butter without the jelly. — DV 22:26, 26 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I don't know for sure. It's for the press obviously, but the pictures are copyrighted by the ESO. I've been poopin' around on the commons trying to figure out if I could use them or not. I don't think so. With AFP suing Google and all that, I've been careful about what kind of source I use for my stories. Although someone did link directly to a photo on the Ariane 5 story from a while back without going through the wikicommons.
I agree it blows with no photos but I don't need the heavy hand of the Copyright Gods comin' down on my head or me causing any problems for Wikinews itself. Paranoid? Hell, yeah! vlsimpson 22:38, 26 Mar 2005 (UTC)
