Talk:Massive flooding in China; over 550 thousand evacuated
40 rivers
editI'm having trouble finding the source for the statement that 40 rivers have been affected by the floods. Perhaps I missed it.--William S. Saturn (talk) 22:05, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
- I'll find it for you. I removed a couple. Mattisse (talk) 22:09, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
- http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2011/jun/17/china-evacuation-floods I'll add it back. Mattisse (talk) 22:10, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
- Just saw it in the history.--William S. Saturn (talk) 22:11, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, the reference is still there. (If you can't find something, I can see if it is in one of the sources I removed.) Mattisse (talk) 22:17, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Map of area
editA coworker wants a map of the flooded area. We cannot find one, just "South and Central China," which I've interpreted to mean "about 85% of China, with a bit at the top right and top left tips becoming peninsulas. God has delivered unto them a repeat of the Great Flood." --199.173.226.229 (talk) 15:35, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
- The BBC article in the sources has a map.[1]
Three of the areas mentioned in the sources that were hit over the weekend:
-
Sichuna
-
Guizhou
-
Zhejiang
Hope this helps! Mattisse (talk) 16:28, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
