So the point of this article is to relate that Jack Valenti autographed a Betamax tape? You gotta hand it to those EFF guys for their sense of irony! Also, in paragraph three, the article misrepresents Ms. Crow's intent. In the statement referenced, she states, "...[with a VCR] no one could possibly distribute millions of perfectly reproduced copies to all those who wished to have a copy." The intent is not about making a copy but about the distribution without compensation of the artist. This article is rife with bias.
