Wikipedia states:
- Liverpool Football Club (usually known simply as Liverpool) is an English football club that is based in Liverpool, Merseyside.
This entry supports my assertion that "Liverpool Football Club" is singular, however its elements may be plural. A club is singular, regardless of its nationality. Karen 21:41, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
