Talk:Live grenade thrown at George Bush in Georgia

This story needs some work. The first reference to Paarmann doesn't say who he is. It says the same thing twice, in two different ways, regarding the grenade not working due to a malfunction.

May I suggst that you go in and edit it? Since anyone can edit, have a ball and fix the problems you see! and thanks! Lyellin 02:26, 19 May 2005 (UTC)

I'm not bold enough to change the headline myself, but it sounds funny to me. The incident happened some days ago, but the headline sounds like breaking news. I think a better choice would be "Grenade thrown at George Bush was live" -- sounds more like a followup. Well I'm still not entirely happy with that. just 2c

Yes, it's a old news, so to put this as headline is a bit ... POV, no ??? :) This the reason i do not like HeadLines. It's a way to raise people attention on subjects not really that important. I (We, i hope) know why Real Reality (RR) newpapers makes HeadLines, is xx.wikinews need that ? Jacques Divol 08:59, 19 May 2005 (UTC)
I agree that the current headline implies that this is 'new news' and suggest that it is changed. The headline you suggest would IMO require a rewrite of the story which could also address the points raised earlier. link the right hand grenade!Edit

Can someone fix the link on the main page to be the right hand grenade? It doesn't appear to be part of the story, but putting up the wrong grenade with a text comment that says it is *NOT* the grenade thown is ridiculous.

Could we at least NOT use an American grenade?

I have doubts that the commons has the right gernade. Although I'd also like to see that stock photo gone, I had stock photos being used that are not actually related or useful in the story. It's misleading information. --70.97.77.132 17:17, 19 May 2005 (UTC)

Wait for it to clear upload, should be titled Image: RDG-5 Grenade
