Notes for Original Reporting edit

  • Internal exams in The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore were rescheduled to Sunday.
  • No government bus was running.
  • Not a single shop was open.
  • Security guards were doing their duty. Even the policemen.
  • Though medical shops are open on Sundays, they didn't open today.
  • Petrol pumps were also closed.
  • City came back to life and public transportation resumed just minutes before 6 PM (IST)
  • Dispute for the river dates back to the British Colonial times. Karnataka has lesser area of the river and demands equal share are the river originates from Karnataka.
