Couple points

1. Since the word "controversial" has been taken out of the headline, wouldn't it be more accurate to write "election bid" rather than just "election"?
2. The Wall Street Journal notes that "It was no coincidence that Jerry Brown’s election-night venue was the Fox Theater" so I think that the info about the Fox Theater should be included.
3. I'm pretty sure that "Union-Tribune Editorial Board" is an organization distinct from the publication cited.
