Wikinews is not out to be first to regurgitate unverified, and potentially unsourced material. Do not put one-line sensationalism in as the lead article, leads should be well developed. --Brian McNeil / talk 21:11, 3 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please give a non-broken source, instead of a link that gives an error, and do not put this as lead until it is verified with a second source and contains a couple of paragraphs, not 2 sentences. --Brian McNeil / talk 21:16, 3 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Headline

edit

Headline (Casualties in Israeli missile strike) contained no verb. I change it to "Israeli missile strikes northern Gaza Strip", but one could possibly write a better headline than that. Karen 04:21, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Rocket attacks on Israeli towns

edit

I removed text in the final paragraph saying: "and also an intent to stop the daily rocket attacks on the Israeli cities of Sderot and Ashkelon by palestinian rockets."

This article is about the strikes on July 4th. The rocket attacks on July 7th are a seperate story. Besides, IDF didn't say the strikes on July 4th were related to militants firing rockets on cities. They only said that they launched the strike because militants near their positions were placing explosives. --Jambalaya 00:47, 8 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Undated article???!

edit

Why remove the date from the article? The article was originally created and dated 2006-07-03 UTC. After someone deleted the date it is no longer listed in the news summary for July 2006.! Now is it supposed to cover every subsequent missile strike in northern Gaza (for instance the strikes on July 07)? Without dates news articles are meaningless. --68.126.188.126 05:21, 15 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
