ReviewEdit

you are aware that Al-Jazeera, even if it were a credible source, should NEVER be your only news source, right?Edit

"Likud party leader Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that he firmly supports settlement expansion and has said that peace talks with Palestinians are a waste of time."

and that is why. Netanyahu has said nothing of the sort.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.113.142.170 (talkcontribs)

Buddy, that statement came from The Associated Press, a major western newswire. It supplies Fox News with most of their content, and therefore Fox reported that Netanyahu statement just like we did. Do you really think that FOX NEWS, the ultra-right-wing neo-con news network of choice, is taking a pro-Muslim stance on this? Are you really trying to say that? Also, note that while we did use Al-Jazeera for 2 of our source articles, we have 3 others that are not Al-Jazeera. So they aren't our only source:P. Gopher65talk 00:25, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Waste of timeEdit

Extreme POV to include such an interpretation, Benjamin Netanyahu referred to the peace talks as a waste of time while explaining the failures of past negotiations. Picking out sound bites gives a false impression. Newsweek article for a more accurate and less blatantly POV/OR: Politics Takes a Right Turn in Jerusalem. I also find it rather odd to rely exclusively on AJ wording when they clearly have a strong slant against the West and especially Israel. I know it's an RS and we are obligated to cite it, but there are plenty of other more neutral and objective organizations that provided coverage on this incident. It is suspect that a user would choose AJ over everything else. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.181.150.70 (talkcontribs)
