Talk:Iraqis vote in massive numbers
Perhaps the title 'Mass of Iraqs appeared to vote' needs to be changed? - 'Iraqs' needs to be 'Iraqis' but is still a little non-sensical. How about "Many Iraqis go to the polls" or "Many Iraqis cast their vote"?
- Also: no mention of the fact that very, very few Sunni's could or wanted to vote. Many polling stations plain didn't open in the triangle and surrounding areas... Snooo 01:05, 2 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Propaganda piece
editJesus christ, what a propanda piece. I can't believe the heading of this article, all based on a guesstimate from Farid Ayar, the spokesman for the Independent Electoral Commission for Iraq (IECI), before the polls had even closed. Ayar said, “Percentages and numbers come only after counting and will be announced when it's over ... It's too soon to say that those were the official numbers.” yet here they are been parroted on Wikinews. What a joke. —Christiaan 14:01, 5 Feb 2005 (UTC)
