Markie removed them saying: "remove ref tags - not used on WN and link to copyvios". I agree with the copyvios, the external links is not used on the English wikinews but it is used in other language version such as the French Wikinews.--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 11:16, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

If there is a copyright violation, then you should bring it to the attention of YouTube and MEMRI. I restored the videos.--Blivit 11:44, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I don't think we as a site would like link to copyvios. Furthermore, there have been style arguments. Please don't just revert but discuss.--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 11:52, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Furthermore, the videos are edited in such a way that they aren't quite NPOV.--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 11:53, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
The premise of your argument regarding copyright violation is false. If you weren't nitpicking, then you would contact YouTube & MEMRI.--Blivit 11:57, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I have removed the video links again. Please do not just insert them again. If you do you will be blocked fro breaking the 3 revert rule. --MarkTalk 12:49, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • I have emailed MEMRI notifying them that their copyright is being violated on YouTube. Links to the transcripts they provide would be more appropriate and should be clearly labelled as what source they come from. --Brian McNeil / talk 12:57, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
    • It isn't just YouTube. Even the video that linked to MEMRI's site itself was removed. I assume that the remover is claiming MEMRI is violating copyrights and Wikinews could get sued for this; I am not sure about the validity of the remover's claims here.--Blivit 13:08, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
