Insurgents?

Insurgents? What could these people be fighting for? Is that not important to the story? Everyone's a Buddhist in Southern Thailand, correct? That's the only religion mentioned, so I'd assume so.

80% of the population in the three southern provinces is Muslim. I am working on background for the whole South Thailand insurgency issue. I will add a wikipediar link to the article Brianmc 14:12, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
