Talk:Idaho meterologist promotes Hurricane Katrina conspiracy theory
--BuzzSkyline 21:04, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
This news is not current. The dates in the source articles are September 8th and 9th. Please reference this somewhere in your piece. --Wolfrider 21:39, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
You are quite right that the source articles are a bit old, but they are also obscure. Is that sufficient enough to post it here? If not, I guess we should take it down.
I was thinking it was a story that had not broken into mainstream media yet. It also seems likely to be a story that will develop soon, considering that the increasing coverage of Stevens' quirky views are likely to reflect badly on his TV station, and increase the chances that he will be fired soon.--BuzzSkyline 21:47, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
- I don't think it's a big deal that the story is old, and it is an interesting article. Scary but interesting. ;) I don't see a problem with keeping it up as long as you reference the dates inside the story, just to make sure it doesn't mislead people into believing that this is a recent development. --Wolfrider 22:15, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
- It looks better now. This is hilarious. I checked out WeatherWars and must say it's going on my list of some of the crazier things I've read on the net. Quite a feat. --Wolfrider 22:21, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
- Paranoia is a disease... Funny stuff! MikeCapone 00:36, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
Why are you guys wasting time on this article while ignoring what the Nation of Islam and the Black Panthers have said about the New Orleans disaster? As in white people planted bombs and blew up the levees in order to harm black people.
- Umm, write it up and we'll see how it looks. The existence of one story doesn't mean another is not news, so there is room for both. I focus on science stories, so when a meterologist starts spouting conspiracy theories, I am inclined to cover it. I'll leave other conspiracies to folks who follow that sort of thing.--BuzzSkyline 14:32, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
- So that white politicians can take the political flak? I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
Spelling and formatting errors

- The article title contains a spelling error - "meteorologist" is correct
- The first {{source}} template is missing its closing
