Hello, I am the author of the news article, after completing the news article I copied it to Wikipedia and wikified it, Kittyhawk as there was no article on this topic. I do not think this causes any issues of copyright infringement. 70.54.8.246 13:38, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Why did you retitle the article without discussing it first on the article talk page. In fact, the supercomputer is being designed "TO"...not just "CAPABLE" as originally titled. IBM to construct supercomputer to run entire Internet. Please move it back to the old name ASAP. 70.54.8.246 20:00, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

To interpret what they are proposing as actually hosting the entire internet is nonsensical. Read the IBM white paper. --Jcart1534 - (talk) 22:50, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
In fact, the title should be toned down even more. They are only "exploring" the construction, not "to construct", which interprets it as if they will construct it...a done deal it is not. --Jcart1534 - (talk) 22:56, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

First of all, you are not "the author" of this article, the whole community is. Secondly, I am not vandalizing by removing nonsensical and unfounded assertions. Please read the white paper you yourself so generously linked. --Jcart1534 - (talk) 23:04, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

memory

In what way the memory of a distributed computer a memory and not a hard-drive? The access time to memory on remote computers is extremely long, so for any purpose it'd serve the same as a hard drive. 85.250.138.237 21:03, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
