Talk:HIV vaccine trial set to begin in South Africa

Is not the success of this trial depends upon the UNPROTECTED SEX OF THE 3000 PARTICIPANTS? Is this trial (HVTN 503 trial) contains the molecules of Africans? What i mean is that similar trial in India at chennai and Pune didnot contain the molecular protein peculiar to the Asians. It contained molecular protein M which is peculiar to caucasian only!!After some hue and cry the Asian protein was introduced. suppose a voluunteer has unprotected sex after taking the placebo thinking he is protected by the vaccine!!!This type of problem happenned in india. THE success of the TRIAL WILL DEPEND ON FORNICATION AND UNPROTECTED SEX AND so ethically this is wrong trial but i only hope the participants are told about the need for unprotected sex for the success of this trial. i hope HVTN 502 TRIAL results are shared with the participants or south african researchers.
