I'm not sure if this counts as collaboration or comment, but does Wikinews need these ultra-lightweight articles?
Just because the mainstream media has these joke articles/stories to pad out their paper/broadcast, and just, let's face it, to dumb down their news to entertainment to attract ratings to attract advertising to make money. We don't need that. If you read Wikinnews, surely it's because you're sick of dumb "news" stories like Punxsutawney Phil and his clones.

- People write about what they want to write about, and the occasional lighter story is not bad. I personally wouldn't bother about something like this, but I have no problems with other people choosing to. Confusing Manifestation (Say hi!|Stalk me!) 00:50, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- I would suggest that as "comment"/opinion. That said, as long as its within the policies, write what you will. 68.39.174.238 07:11, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
