Talk:Google hires Vint Cerf, the "father of the Internet"

Some comments:

What is ACM ?

You seem to have stopped making wikilinks after the first paragraph. Why stop ?

That (French ?) award could use a translation to English.

The ACM is the Association for Computing Machinery. They are a very prestigious but slightly obscure group. Premio Principe de Asturias de Investigacion Cientifica is Spanish. I know it is a very important award for the sciences, but since I do not speak Spanish, I can not give you a translation. I Wiki linked every thing I know to have a Wikipedia page after I finished those I gave up with the plan to go back later to finish them. --Cspurrier 20:27, 8 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
You've got to know some of those things have links, like NASA, and why not try a machine translation ? StuRat 20:36, 8 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
McCart42, thanks for all your clean-up work. StuRat 04:44, 9 September 2005 (UTC).Reply

I found a public domain photo of Cerf and uploaded it to the commons [1]. It isn't as good, but at least it's free to use :). --Deprifry 22:57, September 10, 2005 (UTC)
Looks good enough to me. I like how the glare off the podium distracts from the glare off his bald head, LOL. StuRat 23:34, 10 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
