the numbers dead are varying widely by source - the bbc and cnn are still reporting around 250-260 deaths @ http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/africa/12/26/nigeria.blast/index.html and http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/6209845.stm but some of this article and some of the other sources quoted say more - maybe there needs to be a change of headline???
IMHO, the title has been been left fairly ambiguous as it is, and BBC and CNN cosourced together is pretty trustworthy. Unless there comes a report that maybe 1200+ died, then I'd say to change it. Unless the title was already changed to 'hundreds.' Fephisto 21:35, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
