the Stop TB plan estimates a $56 billion total bill.[1]
The Global Fund to stop Aids, TB, Malaria says, "Assistance from developed nations should increase from the current levels of about US$ 6 billion per year globally to US$ 27 billion by 2007 and US$ 38 billion by 2015"[italics mine]. to date, total pledges to date is $10 billion[2]. total disbursed is $6 billion. these is over something like 5 years.
for some context, 2006 worldwide box office comes to $25 billion, US box office is $10 billion[3]. am on the look out for fries and shake stats. –Doldrums(talk) 13:22, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
