GIGN != Special Forces. edit

Just a point, GIGN aren't really 'special forces' in that they do not fall into the classic military model of such a unit.

Rather they are specialist police trained in disciplines of counter-terrorism and hostage rescue.

I believe the 'mass media' are using the 'special forces' term purely for the sound-bite and we can be more accurate than that, however I will leave it open for some concensus if other's want to change it.

breaking? edit

Now when the hostage situation is over maybe breakingtag is unnecessary? International 23:59, 9 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Why human right ? edit

I do not understand the usage of human right category here. It's not the first article i read with this category added without good meaning ... Jacques Divol

I belive that, the cat is added to all articles, that fit into one of the articles in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Brian | (Talk) | New Zealand Portal 09:19, 10 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
