editThe European Commission investigation is, currently, rather weak; I contacted them (EC Competition folks) a few months ago when we'd had some discussion regarding browser preference. They're fielding complaints from comparison search companies who've stated Google is deliberately giving them poor pagerank.
Work done by some Wikinewsies was on the basis that services such as YouTube favour users who choose to use Chrome. Yes, some Original Reporting; I've flagged this remark in the hope some of the people who did tests will comment on this.
