Talk:Explosions rock 'Green Zone' inside Baghdad

That picture can't be in Iraq; there's snow on the ground. It looks like it's supposed to be from Ottawa. Somebody should find the real picture. unsigned by 131.151.150.116

Also, why would a guy wearing an RCMP hat be guarding a US embassy in Iraq? (Just out of curiosity, not saying that the photo's not of Iraq, just seems suspicious. ) Bawolff ☺☻ 00:33, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Snow in Iraq? edit

Wake up guys. 70.50.78.136 01:03, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Now that picture has been promoted to the front page. Whose idea was that?
I took it off the main page. Look at this: http://www.cpt.org/albums/Ottawa/US_Embassy.jpg. It is definitely a canadian picture. If you look carefully you will see the words RCMP on the guys hat in the picture. FellowWikiNews (W) 01:28, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Evacuations edit

After reading the listed sources, there was no mention of evacuations. Instead I found that according to officials, no evacuations had taken place. I corrected the article accordingly. It is possible, perhaps even likely, that evacuations took place, but please source them before putting them in the article.--SVTCobra 01:30, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
