Spoke to Mike, one of the six still inside.

  • things are "fine" no plans to leave until the police come in
  • to stop the police, "getting everyone in town down here -- workers, family, trade union." There will be "no physical confrontation", just demo
  • "fair few demonstrators" still outside. More in the evening. get all workers families in the evening
  • food situation is fine "were used to it now"
  • Any job prospects lined up? other wind turbine manufacturers have said to apply, but they're in other parts of the UK or Europe.
  • a lot of the people who've gone out have just left, not even cautioned. "we've even tidied up"
  • Any contacts inside or with Cowes plant you can share? will text
  • "we will carry on even when we are taken out of here. we will continue to fight this. we aren't just going to give up"
  • police have been "very friendly. we can't fault them".
