"Quaero"ing, what the f&%$?

Will "Quaero"ing replace Googling as the favorite way to surf the internet? That seems to be what the europeans are hoping for.

• What all of us? Yes last night I couldn't get to sleep as all I could think about was Quaero. Come on people we can do better then that!

2 Billion?

Err, even if that agency spent all of its 2 billion on "Quaero", Google is worth over $82 billion (more than Time-Warner)...doesn't sound like Europe will be a threat for a *long* while. 68.42.73.85 13:22, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

Perspective missing....

I admit, I think the article in its current form is missing some perspective. One angle to the story is that this project was initiated to compensate the perceived threat to euro culture by predominantly US based search engines. The concern is that information closer to european cultures can be better disseminated by euro search engine.

NPOV

This article is in need of cleaning up in adherence to the NPOV policy. This article portrays "Quaero" in a positive light, has a poor choice of writing tone (questions in the article), and does not provide sources for "That seems to be what the europeans are hoping for." in response to "dominating Google".
