On the sixth question, did you mean prize instead of prix? (I don't like editing interviews as by there very nature, the entire thing is essentially a quote, and I don't want to be putting words in other people's mouths). Cheers, and good work. I enjoyed reading this.Bawolff 06:51, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

In French, the term is grand prix, but in English it's grand prize. You're right...it's a tough road with this interview, I wrote the questions in English, had them translated into French, she responded in French, and now we're translating her answers into English. :) Mike Halterman (talk) 06:54, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Play comedy" edit

Are you absolutely sure "play comedy" is not simply a literal translation of the very banal French idiom jouer la comédie, that is, simply "act, feign, pretend playfully"? Circeus (talk) 04:22, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Also, the "Pactolus" note is an entirely pointless translator's note, as there is no trace of it whatsoever in the English. "Pactole" is a word for "big sum of monney", it doesn't warrant a note and it just confusing without reason! Circeus (talk) 04:26, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's in the French so we're keeping the Pactolus note. And the other one, about comedy, I was advised to explain it from a French speaker, so I'm also keeping that too. Mike Halterman (talk) 05:01, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
