The witness in question came on IRC from a CGI:IRC client into the #wikinews newsroom. Amgine, MrMiscellanious, myself, and others were present.
- I was in Crete(Heraklion) waiting for a plane(sitting) and I felt the quake slightly. I believe I wouldn't feel it if I was walking. The quake was too deep underground to do serious damage but that fact made it more possible to travel and be felt from italy to greece to turkey(the main reason some geologists believe the richter scale is not suited at all for popular media).
