Talk:EU concerned about Microsoft compliance, $5 million daily fine possible
The wording of the title is awkward.
At a minimum, the title should read,
"Microsoft not compliant with EU demands, possible $5 million daily fine"
However, from reading the story and the cited sources, it seems the story could be summed up as:
"EU concerned about Microsoft compliance; possible five million dollar daily fine"
but that's pretty long.
So how about:
"EU rejects Microsoft proposal; daily US$5 million fine?"

- I was going to go with "Microsoft has still not complied with EU demands, possible US$ 5 million daily fine", or "Microsoft still not complying with EU demands, possible US$ 5 million daily fine", but those didn't seem right either. The article is actually a combination of two articles: the possible fine, and the rejected proposal. It seemed to me both could be combined. In light of this, I think the longer title may be justified: "EU concerned about Microsoft compliance; possible five million dollar daily fine" The title "EU rejects Microsoft proposal; daily US$5 million fine?" seems to me a bit melodramatic, as if to say: the End? - "Microsoft still not complied with..." doesn't make sense, so almost any of the other choices would be better at this point. — DV 15:54, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)
