Talk:EU, Microsoft agree on browser ballot

Immediate reaction upon reading this:

  • The title is confusing if you don't know the context.
  • "The browser ballot will give Windows users an option of switching to one of twelve competing browsers" - the article should perhaps give a list of browsers. I'm familiar with some pretty obscure browsers, but i certainly cannot think of 12 of them (even if you include the non-windows browsers).

I agree:
  • Internet Explorer
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Opera
  • Chrome
  • Flock
are the ones I think of right off the top of my head...but looking at w:List_of_web_browsers, it's way more than I ever would have wanted to know about. Who's to say, MS should include Flock over OmniWeb (for example). Calebrw (talk) 20:25, 17 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
