Talk:Congressman Cunningham admits taking bribes
Latest comment: 18 years ago by Vonbergm
This article is a little too dry, try to explain a little more rather than having many short statements as their own individual sentences (breaks the flow), examples:
Quote
Cunningham is scheduled to be sentenced on February 27.
- Details on where the sentencing takes place would be nice to include here.
Quote
He is facing up to 10 years in prison and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.
- Something like this requires a larger detail rather than just a single sentence.
Quote
Cunningham has announced his resignation.
- When? How?
- Also, the individual quotes in the middle of the article are very... just not neccessary. Furthermore, the article could use a reorganization - there is little to no chronological order of presenting items relevent to each other. --MrMiscellanious (talk) (contribs) 22:20, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
Addressed all the remarks, except "chronological order" part as I don't see how it applies. But feel free to add more background information on the charges and the dealings of Cunningham and put them into a chronological order. It should make for an interesting reading. In general the remarks seem quite petty. Next time just take a look at the sources and fix them yourself. --vonbergm 22:42, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
- I'd like to, but every time I tend to edit an article - big or small - someone always accuses me of something by not discussing it first. So, which would you rather have? --MrMiscellanious (talk) (contribs) 23:28, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
- I guess that's true, so thank you for being considerate and never mind my ranting. :-) I still believe that moving it to develop was not really necessary as your objections/suggestions were quite small fixes. If nobody tends to your questions, then that's a different issue of course. --vonbergm 23:59, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
