This "technically" features original reporting stemming from discussion in IRC.
Personally I pointed out there have been no free bags in Belgian supermarkets for several months and schemes to reward use of more durable bags have been in force for even longer. Apparently other EU countries have similar measures. --Brian McNeil / talk 18:58, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
