Talk:Chili finger suspect arrives in San Jose, California for trial
I used the byline template because I'm filing this story from San Jose.
I'm still working on which jail Ayala's being held in. I'm trying to find out if she's being held in the main jail, located on Hedding in downtown San Jose, or if they took her to the Elmwood woman's unit in Milpitas.
I'll shoot photos of both sites to play it safe, they're both within fifteen minutes of my location. — DV 11:08, 7 May 2005 (UTC)
- I just confirmed she's being held at the main jail over on Hedding. Here's a link with more info about the facility. — DV 11:59, 7 May 2005 (UTC)
Allegations of black magic and witchcraft?
editThe San Francisco Chronicle is running a story with allegations which Ayala's attorney calls "just too frickin' weird":
- Alan Gathright. "More allegations about finger lady, husband; His ex-wife said Ayala threw her against a wall" — San Francisco Chronicle, May 5, 2005
In this story, Susana Plascencia, who is the ex-wife of Ayala's husband, describes a struggle with Ayala after she tracked down her ex-husband for child support payments, and found him living with Ayala, which led to a troubling discovery which has left Plascencia fearful of Ayala:
"(Susana Plascencia) said Ayala had some sort of 'black magic' shrine set up in a room of the cottage"
I'm not sure whether to add this angle to the story - I have to agree with Ayala's attorney that this bizarre accusation is "weird". — DV 11:48, 7 May 2005 (UTC)
