I fail to see how celebrity appearances qualify as news. Pilotguy roger that 16:52, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

How is this news? It reads more like a press release. If there was an article every time some celebrities appeared on TV, wikinews would be ruined. Again, how is this news? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.175.77.220 (talkcontribs)

No one has complained in the past about this sort of article, which I have written multiple times prior. It is highlighting the fact that Wikinews is trying to step up the creation of original, exclusive, free-licensed content. The only easy way to getting free content is by rewarding the outlets that afford us the opportunity to take the pictures. This is simply pay back to the television station and movie studio, thanking them for supporting a.) free culture, and b.) user-generated content.
This is timely in that a.) the movie is set for release, and b.) it looks at one of the many places the cast is being sent to market the movie. The article also helps discuss that there is a legitimate plot and message to this movie. From the trailer, it looks totally, totally terrible. But this proves there was great thinking involved in transforming one the most derided kids' brands in recent history, into something with at least some worth, even if lacking in originality.
I have added these quotes in order to bulk the story up. If we were a blog, or a print media outlet, we would only need to publish the picture, and move on. But this content is meant to bring meaning to what would otherwise two sentences. -- Zanimum 18:07, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
