*Nicholas Paphitis. "Captain of Sunken Cruise Ship Is Charged" — , April 08, 2007
The title of the article is one word different and although the article isnt copied and pasted im seeing very similar stuff. Can anyone else see this or is it just me??--MarkTalk 10:04, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
I asked on IRC, and Brianmc agreed saying that "the opening of ours is almost a rewrite with a lot of "borrowed" phrasing. I suspect written from that source and the others just added." Brian | (Talk) | New Zealand Portal 10:29, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
- I think it needs a rewrite, I don't think we would get away with this. Thanks for noticing this Markie, I quite often forget to check sources for copyvio Brian | (Talk) | New Zealand Portal 10:41, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
- Well done for re-writing the first para but i think the whole thing needs changeing. This para is from the guardian article
Yiannis Evangelou, the head of Greece's association of travel and tourist agencies, said the Sea Diamond's rescue operation, which he watched from a nearby ferry, was ``exemplary.
and this is from the WN article
Yiannis Evangelou, the head of Greece's association of travel and tourist agencies, stated that: the Sea Diamond's rescue operation, which he watched from a nearby ferry, was ``exemplary.
very similar me thinks. Anyway i would change it myself but this is my last for today (probs). You may also like to look at other contribs by the user who statred this artilce as at a quick glance they also look very similar to their sources. Sorry im leaving a mess and running --MarkTalk 12:06, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
