Talk:Canadians may elect Senate

This doesn't make sense. why does he need a bill to do that. Theres already elections in Alberta for senators, the problem is that the resualts mean didly squat, as the pm doesn't listen to them. If he wants to listen to them he doesn't need to pass a bill to do it (I think). Bawolff 00:40, 14 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well, CBC news called it a bill [1]. FellowWikiNews (W) I am Canadien! 00:47, 14 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
I understand now (I think). Basicly the bill would put a place on the ballot for who you want as senate. (I think) What I was confused about before Is why he needs any legestaion as its in his authority to appoint whomever he wants, and ask anyone he wants for help in that decision (Well technically the GG apoints them, but the PM makes the decision). user:Bawolff
Shouldn't the title be may elect senate for the first time (Event hasn't happened yet, the bill hasn't passed). user:Bawolff
when shld "senate" amd "senators" be capitalized?  — Doldrums(talk) 06:06, 14 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
I don't know. I think Senate should be capitilized, as its a proper noun (Name of upper house), well senator is a title, and I don't think titles are capitilized. user:Bawolff
