This is a topic we should cover, but as is it has some POV issues. This part "new and severe assault" and "clearly designed to end the Gana and Gwi Bushman way of life and to destroy them as distinct peoples." are very POV the rest is mostly fine. --Cspurrier 20:00, 13 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

How about "such actions by the government of Botswana could have adverse effects on the cultural identities of the tribes"?

It is so sad that this population is being forced to leave their way of life. It's obvious they are aware of a "civilized" way of life; yet they reject it. I believe they reject it because it's not as "civilized" as we would like to believe it is. So much corruption, racism, discrimination, disparity between the "haves" and "have nots" and fundamental EVIL to the core. I believe they are aware of this type of lifestyle and want no part of it. Africa, to me, is the Motherland. It has been robbed, stripped and abused since its "discovery" by people of discolor. It has been forced to give up most of its wealth and beauty, its people have been stripped of everything meaningful as well. So sad am I to read this today but certainly not surprised.
