A style point for future articles: "Brazilian soccer player's mother kidnapped" looks better as a headline, to my eyes at least, than "Brazilian soccer player's mother has been kidnapped" does. In general, the present continuous tense sounds odd to me in most of these cases. In some languages (Greek, German) it's much more common, but in English for whatever reason it seems weird. --Delirium 07:53, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
