The title of this article would be much improved if it were BBC unveils plans for Britain-only iMP player.

As it is at the moment, one tends to read that BBC is unveiling plans for a new BRITAIN... Duncan.France 14 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Nope, it's illegal to use a TV (or any other broadcast receiving device - via UHF, VHF, Satelite, - e.g. VCR, Computer, sky box) to *receive a UK originated televisual broadcast signal(. You can have a TV, that's *capable* of receiving these broadcasts, and that's OK as long as you don't *USE* it to do so.

(You could watch a DVD for example)
