This article was created over a month post article date, and does not contain the proper tag to denote its stage. In addition, I do not believe this is a publish-quality article as of now, as there is no specific event it centers on, and is quite short in length. --MrMiscellanious (talk) – 21:39, 13 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I already started this (Ayyavazhi) few months before and was deleted fro the reason that there is no proper reference. And I was searching for the reference and now I found out. So I started it now. And the news related to this is not an event finish in a day or two. It was a leave announcement and it will benefit and will be in practice for every year. And you also told that it was a not a notable event. But in the History of Ayyavazhi it was a long time demand for a leave for those districts. And now was granded. So regarding Ayyavazhi it was really specific and resonable. - Vaikunda Raja 21:49, 13 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
I've also sourced it by the site of a News Paper (The Hindu) report. -Vaikunda Raja 21:52, 13 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
As a note, I didn't say that the event itself wasn't notable; I just said how the article represents it is not notable, due to the lack of content and context. --MrMiscellanious (talk) – 21:58, 13 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
I've expanded the article making it more informative. -Vaikunda Raja 22:15, 13 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Some questions edit

What day of the year will the holiday be celebrated annually, or how is the date of the holiday determined annually?

What does a government holiday indicate? Will banking and government offices be closed?

If you please, could you provide some background regarding both what the holiday means, and how it is celebrated? - Amgine | talk en.WN 06:48, 15 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is this publishable? It looks pretty good to me. Bawolff ☺☻  05:17, 24 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I too think its okay. But you asked and so I'am telling,

  • The holiday is celebrated on 20th of the tamil month of Masi which falls on march 4th. during leap years it falls on march 3rd.
  • During the day (local holiday) I think the banks remain open. But I am not sure about the government offices. - Vaikunda Raja 21:25, 24 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
