The article has been written with a narrow readership audience. "Channel 7" needs to be introduced and should be identified with a geographic location... (I'm assuming somewhere in Australia?). The article needs to preserve a NPOV as much as possible. --24.182.60.134 02:43, 23 August 2005 (UTC)

- The reason why Channel 7 is different than PBS, CNN, Fox, etc is that they are names/acronyms for the networks. "Channel 7" can be your local broadcast station in Kansas City, Kansas, USA or it could be your local cable TV networks porn/pay-per-view channel. - Yup. You could argue it's called the "Seven Network", but Channel 7 is its name, just like CNN, CSPAN, or whatever.

'Channel 7 is channel 7' - Never thought about the uncreative names of our stations before. I saw this Mediawatch program also (which I think should be on every night - there's enough material). It was a disgraceful 'news' article, and there was absolutely no need for Today Tonight to generate such a perspective in these times.
I think it does incite those ignorant enough to watch Today Tonight anyway. :) (generalist comment?)
