Er edit

Clearly some copyediting will be needed here; whether it's within range for an independent review is harder to say without closer scrutiny. Some points that catch the eye:

  • According to his family Sulzberger had a long illness.
One wonders when this illness was, in relation to his death.
  • Sulzberger left the chief executive position and succeeded to his son
Um. wikt:succeed.
  • United States President Barack Obama said, "he was saddened by news of Sulzberger's death."
This begs the question of who Obama was referring to when Obama said "he".
  • An assistant managing editor for the New York Times, Jim Roberts said that the publisher's death is a "monumental contributor to journalism."
Say what?
