Talk:American Samoa asks again to be removed from U.N. colonies list

I removed the following because the "Fono" is the legislature of Samoa (Formerly Western Samoa), NOT American Samoa. Thanx.

The legislature of American Samoa, called the Fono, has approved a Future Political Status Commission to study public opinion on possibly becoming a commonwealth or freely associated state.

I readded the information, since it was correct and also agrees with the usage in the source article. American Samoa also has a Fono. I changed the link to point to the American Samoa page where the Fono can be seen. DouglasGreen 00:14, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
