Talk:Al-Qaeda releases 9/11 message

Latest comment: 16 years ago by Jcart1534

Could you explain : "It refers to al Qaeda as a person even though it's a group". What's the problem ? i just guess. To impersonate a group seem ok for me. often it's used for political entity : "France decided to send troop ..." or "French government forbide hormone into beef food". i don't see difference with al qaeda. And i know this group is not a monolitic centralised group. Maybe its a french language difference with english. smile. Jacques Divol 21:39, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm referring to these sentences: Al Queda released a 9/11 message to the American public today, and with it comes a threat for the American people. He calls on fellow Muslims to step up their resistance to the American people. "He" is a personal pronoun, which is inappropriate in this context. —this is messedrocker (talk) 21:40, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I missed this (grammar is not my friend). so, changing 'he' to 'it' is not enought ? Your editorial cleanup seem strong to me, a detail Jacques Divol 21:45, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
