It seems that some settlements and people do not appear with the right diacritics in the article. Some such instances came from the BBC article. Here is a list:
- Basyurt → Başyurt
- Elazig → Elazığ
- Karakocan → Karakoçan
- Yukari Kanatli → Yukarıkanatlı
- Kayali → Kayalık
- Okcular → Okçular (there are two villages with the same name in the region)
- Cemil Cicek → Cemil Çiçek
- Recep Akdag → Recep Akdağ
- Cevdet Yilmaz → Cevdet Yılmaz
- Diyarbakir → Diyarbakır
These are just search engine corrections/results, so I am not sure about them:
- Ozcan Yalcin → Özcan Yalçın
- Hasan Demirdag → Hasan Demirdağ
