KTM India Quietly launched the 250 Duke in India with New Features!

edit

The 2024 KTM 250 Duke has been quietly launched in India, following a similar strategy as the 200 Duke. With updated features aimed at keeping it competitive against rivals like the Bajaj Dominar 250, the new model offers a refined experience for motorcycle enthusiasts.

New Features

edit

The 2024 KTM 250 Duke now comes with a 5-inch color TFT instrument screen, similar to the 390 Duke and the recently launched 200 Duke. Known as the bonded glass TFT dashboard, this display includes Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to control music and access navigation features via the KTM app. This is a significant improvement over the older LCD unit, enhancing the bike’s tech appeal. The addition of 4-way menu controls on the left switchgear and LED DRLs borrowed from the larger 390 Duke further boost the 250 Duke’s design and functionality.

Design, Performance, and Price

edit

Despite the upgrades in technology, the 2024 KTM 250 Duke retains its proven mechanical components. Key features like USD telescopic front forks, offset mono-shock suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, banana-shaped swingarm, underbelly exhaust, and dual-channel ABS brakes remain unchanged. Powering the bike is the same engine as before -

  • 248cc DOHC 4V single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine
  • Power: 29.5 bhp
  • Torque: 25 Nm
  • 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch

The 2024 KTM 250 Duke is priced at Rs 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom). This represents a slight increase compared to the previous model, justified by the feature enhancements, making it a strong contender in the segment.
