== Summary ==
This map presents temperatures of 56 of the world's major cities all in one centralized image.
It is generated by an Adobe Illustrator CS document using data-driven graphics that are fed by an XML dataset using the open source WeatherChecker application.
Wikinews user David Vasquez will supply the source files for the imagery by e-mail to anyone who wants them - the imagery is about 40MB uncompressed, so these large files are not posted in the Commons.
David contributed additional code changes beginning with version 1.5 of the WeatherChecker application.
