Description
English: Picture of the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST) during its construction in Guizhou Province, China. Begun in 2011, it was finished in 2016 and is the largest aperture single dish radio telescope in the world. It consists of a fixed 500 m (1,600 ft) dish built into a depression in the landscape.
